Two ways people use this division
The first: you know what you want to sell but you have no supplier, no Mandarin, and no way of telling a good factory from a convincing website. We do the finding, the price negotiation and the checking.
The second: you already have a supplier you trust and you just need the goods here, cleared, without a month of confusion at the port. We do the freight and the customs.
Both are ordinary work for us and both start with the same conversation about what you are buying and how much of it.
What we source
- Mobile phone parts and accessories — displays, batteries, charging ports, cables, cases, repair tools and workshop consumables.
- Car and motorcycle spare parts — service items, body parts, electricals and accessories.
- Toys — general and seasonal ranges, in the volumes retailers and wholesalers actually buy.
- General merchandise — household goods, hardware, stationery and consumer items. If it comes out of the Chinese wholesale markets, ask us.
Most of this comes from three places. Shenzhen is where electronics and mobile parts concentrate. Yiwu is the enormous small-commodities market that supplies much of the world’s toys, stationery and household goods. Guangzhou covers a broad range and is where a great deal of consolidation happens.
How a sourcing job runs
You describe the product
A photo, a model number, or a link to something similar. Tell us the quantity and your target landed price — that second number shapes everything.
We come back with options
Usually two or three suppliers at different price and quality points, with a clear explanation of the difference. Cheapest is not always the answer and we will say so.
Samples where it matters
For anything you will be reordering, get a sample first. The cost is small next to a container of the wrong thing.
Order, inspect, consolidate
We place the order, inspect against your specification before loading, photograph it, and consolidate with other cargo if you are shipping LCL.
Ship, clear, deliver
Sea to Chattogram or air to Dhaka, customs clearance through our C&F agent, then onward on our own trucks to your door.
Sea or air?
| Sea freight | Air freight | |
|---|---|---|
| Transit | Roughly 3–5 weeks, plus clearance | A few days, plus clearance |
| Cost | Much lower per kilogram | Several times higher |
| Arrives at | Chattogram, sometimes Mongla | Dhaka airport |
| Best for | Bulk, heavy or low-value-per-kg goods — toys, general merchandise | Small, urgent or high-value goods — mobile parts, samples |
| Options | LCL (shared) or FCL (full container) | By weight and volume |
On landed cost. The price a supplier quotes is not what the goods cost you. Freight, insurance, duty, VAT, port charges, clearance and inland delivery all sit on top, and duty depends on the HS code your product falls under. We work the whole figure out before you commit, because a margin that looks healthy on the supplier’s price sometimes disappears entirely by the time the goods reach your shop.
Freight forwarding on its own
If you have your own supplier in China or Malaysia and only need the movement, we will handle collection at origin, consolidation, sea or air booking, all shipping documentation, customs clearance in Bangladesh, and delivery inland. You keep your supplier relationship; we take the logistics off your desk.
The Malaysia corridor
Alongside China we run cargo from Malaysia to Bangladesh. This matters for customers with business or family connections there, for goods more easily sourced in Malaysia, and for personal effects being sent home. Same process, same documentation, same clearance.
Worth noting: many of our Malaysia cargo customers first came to us through the travel division, or the other way round. If you are travelling and shipping, tell us both and we will coordinate.
